Statement on Recent Military Engagements between India and Pakistan

Wednesday, 7th May 2025 – Recent reports indicate a tragic escalation along the line of control separating Indian- and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, following the launch of Operation Sindoor by India. This has resulted in the loss of numerous lives and many injuries.

I sincerely urge both nations to exercise restraint and engage in constructive dialogue to stabilize the current situation. It is my firm belief that diplomacy remains the most effective route toward addressing conflicts and fulfilling our shared aspirations for peace, stability, and prosperity.

I once again appeal to both India and Pakistan to prioritize dialogue, maintain calm and restraint, and avoid actions that could further exacerbate this delicate situation. Together, let us work towards achieving the vision of Global Peace 2030.
