President KC’s statement strongly condemning Iran for the arrests and executions

Friday, 27 June 2025 – I am profoundly appalled and denounce the actions of the Iranian authorities, who have persistently engaged in a series of arrests and numerous executions of individuals suspected of having connections to Israeli intelligence agencies, following the recent conflict between the two nations.

The executions carried out by Iran represent the most extreme form of cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishment, which should never be employed under any circumstances.

Throughout the 12-day conflict, Iranian authorities executed three individuals accused of espionage on behalf of Israel. On June 25th – merely one day after the ceasefire – three additional individuals faced execution on similar allegations.

I strongly urge the authorities to immediately cease all plans for further arrests and executions, as well as the imposition of death sentences, and to urgently implement a moratorium on all executions.

According to my Global Peace 2030 agenda, any form of cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishment applied for espionage or related offenses that do not involve intentional killing is explicitly prohibited under international law.

– Hum KC, President
