On Wednesday, September 25, 2024 –  I express profound concern regarding the intensifying conflict in Lebanon. Tens of thousands of individuals are fleeing southern Lebanon, uncertain of where to seek refuge. Relentless Israeli bombardments throughout the region have resulted in the deaths of at least 569 individuals, including 50 children, as reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The ongoing Israeli airstrikes, coupled with Hezbollah’s rocket assaults, have led to casualties on both sides of the border.

I call for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah and stress the urgent need for de-escalation as tensions continue to rise along the Lebanese-Israeli border.

I have consistently urged all governments and stakeholders involved in the Middle East conflict to participate in a peace process, as lasting peace is the only feasible resolution; no party truly prevails in warfare.

I aim to initiate peace discussions throughout the Middle East in accordance with my Global Peace 2030 agenda.
